The second product in the range is the Push-Button DVU. The unit is triggered by the push-button on top of the unit. When triggered the unit plays out a previously recorded voice message through an internal speaker. The unit is programmed using a microphone and "dongle". These are plugged into the side of the unit. The unit is powered by a separate mains adaptor.

 

This type of unit lends itself to selling and information applications. An example is placing the unit on top of (say) a television with a sign next to it saying "please press button for information". When a potential customer presses the button the unit plays out the message which may be: "This is the new widescreen TV from ****** displaying the latest flatscreen techniques. Features include........etc."

This type of unit could also be placed on an office desk to inform any passers-by of the whereabouts of the occupant!
